After nearly 37 years when this naat was first played on PTV during Islamic Summit which took place in Pakistan Olpers redid this song and did really well. This was actually written for Pak Army and was sung by Mehdi Zaheer. I really don’t know if he sang anything after this, but this really made him immortal. Beautiful lyrics and an amazing composition.
As for the Olper’s TVC, it is as always visually appealing and very extensive, this song just puts the icing on the cake and so does the choice of Atif Aslam who has really done a great job! Since last couple of years a new extensive commercial every Ramadan is now like a tradition from Olpers and this year they have just gone a step further! a Job well done!
Well, when there is a strong concept budgets and high end production takes a back seat. This commercial clearly shows how important it is to have a strong concept and everything else is so secondary. Simplicity at its best!
